CVI has been incorporated since 2004; however our experience goes back much further. Born out of a desire to make the best possible floors CVI brings to the table 14 years of flooring removal and surface preparation. Having removed and prepared floors for many different types of new floor coverings, some floors time and time again. It became apparent to us there needs to be a better system. Dont get us wrong; there are places where carpet, tile, wood, ceramic, and even floor coatings are better suited than concrete. However for the customer who wants the lowest possible maintenance and the longest durability, polished concrete is the answer. It is our desire to give the customer the best floor possible for there needs. Should a concrete floor not be suitable we will certainly refer the customer to a better system. 

     CVI has spent a good deal of time searching out the best concrete floor systems, we have found some that work and some that dont. L&M Construction Chemicals, FGS Permashine System is at the top. It is for that reason we are certified applicators of their products. Along with FGS we have coupled Rare Earth Stains, their stain is the only stain we have found that will stain polished concrete and not etch the shine off. It is important to realize other stains can stain polished concrete but when they etch the shine away you must re-polish and away goes the effects of the stain.

     Most floors are suited for the FGS system, however not every customer is. We understand the issues of leases and how long someone may be in a space. It is for this reason we also offer a basic stained and clear coated floor. There are also times when Epoxy is preferable over concrete, in these situations we use industrial epoxies of the highest quality.

     CVI offers many possibilities for the floor, from micro toppings to polished stained concrete. We want our customers to have the best floor for their particular needs. That is why we do our best to educate our customers on the advantages and disadvantages of the different systems and let them chose.
