| CVI was incorporated in 2004, however our foundation goes back much further. Born
out of a desire to produce the best possible floors, CVI brought to the table 14 years of
flooring removal and surface preparation as the groundwork for our polishing division. |

Having removed and prepared floors for many different types of new floor coatings and
coverings, some floors time and time again, we recognized the need for a low cost, high
performance floor alternative. It became apparent to us that polished and densified
floors offered better options than your standard coverings and coatings. Whether your
needs are performance driven for manufacturing or industrial applications, or design and
performance driven for grocery, retail or residential, CVI delivers. Knowing how to “read” your floor makes all the difference in consistently producing a quality finished
floor. Each concrete slab is unique, and it takes a unique company like CVI to
consistently bring out the best in every slab.
Don’t get us wrong; there are places where floor coverings and floor coatings are more
appropriate than concrete, but in the vast majority of your applications, a CVI polished
and densified floor provides an appealing option. For the customer who desires the
lowest possible maintenance and the longest durability, polished concrete is the answer.
Should a polished and densified concrete floor not be suitable we will certainly refer the
customer to a better system. |

applicators of the products by manufacturers like L&M, RetroPlate and Prosoco. Along
with these densifier manufacturers we have coupled AmeriPolish and Deco-Pour to
provide their polished concrete dyes, along with Deco-Pour’s Portland Cement-based
overlayment that chemically densifies and polished like true concrete. |

We understand the issues of leases and how long someone may be in a space. It is for
this reason we also offer a basic stained and clear-coated floor to address short term
flooring needs, in addition to thin mil epoxies.
For those times when performance in a wet environment (food processing and
preparation, medical, fish processing) is a necessity CVI is proud to partner with
AcryliCon USA in providing their premier resinous floor. Having been installed in
Scandinavia and Europe since 1978, the AcryliCon floors deliver a non-porous,
monolithic floor that holds up against water and wear unlike any flooring previously
available in the US, with floors consistently lasting 10-20 -30 years. As we’ve learned in
our partnership with AcryliCon – “A floor has failed when you can no longer clean it.”
